About Akasha Hull
Akasha Hull is an extraordinary person. She’s a published author, poet, and a lecturer working deeply in African-American literature and as a Black feminist. Her work is credited with shaping Women’s Studies. She is also a professor emerita from the University of California, Santa Cruz. We’re lucky to have Akasha call Little Rock, Arkansas, home.

About the Site
Askash Hull reached out to me looking to bring her digital presence back to life after her original website had gone offline for a few years. Looking for a fresh start, she and I collaborated closely on her new author website. We discussed the look and feel, planning the style and the color palette to reflect her exact tastes.
The new website features excerpts from her newest manuscript, showcases her published works, and shares videos from two of her lectures.
